V4 (roof 1) is partially inspired by the origami house with a gable roof by Roman Diaz. I wanted a house model where the roof edges extend only slightly beyond the walls, and this was the result. Adjusting the model's proportions changes the amount of roof overhang.

I tried to minimize the number of visible folded edges in this model. Unfortunately, the folding process for v4 (roof 1) is harder than the simple appearance suggests. Another thing that I dislike about this variation is that the roof layer tends to pop up. However, I do like the sturdiness of the lower half of the model - this part is an improvement over v3.

In contrast, v4 (roof 2) has a nice folding process that results in a clean and sturdy result. Although visually similar from the front, v4 (roof 2) is longer and sturdier than v3.
