InspirationReference - Cross Mouth Rabbit v1

Inspired by an origami bunny pin gifted to me at an origami convention that I attended before, and by a certain little rabbit.

The ear structure is reused from my Big Totoro v2 model. The placement of features (eyes, body, etc.) is similar to the placement in my Ribbon Kitty v1 model, except rotated and with paper allocated for longer ears and no bows. The most difficult part was depicting the cross-shaped mouth. The semi-final method (labelled "alternative" in the crease pattern) looked nice enough but was difficult to fold with smaller sheets of paper. The final method I chose (depicted in the main crease pattern below) can be folded reasonably well even with 9.4 inch (24 cm) kami paper.
