Kokeshi Doll v2

Kokeshi are a type of Japanese doll characterized by an enlarged head and a lack of arms and legs.

My previous version (Kokeshi Doll v1) of this subject required two squares of paper. This new version achieves a similar look from one square.

To design this one-piece version, I took the body piece from the previous version and doubled the paper size to allocated paper for the head. This can be seen in the new crease pattern. The center of the paper for this model mostly goes unused - that bulk of paper is hidden in the head, and helps lock down the face layer.
